1954 Oval Bug

Yesterday I made a testdrive with this 1954 Oval Bug. Everything is original and works fine. But I think it would work and look much better, if you slam and rim it. And ofcourse you have to change the original 30HP engine!

Very, very dark green paint:

Good looking interior:

It seems to be modern...

...to build a 1/1 scale model of a smaller example. Worldfamous Walter Jelinek of ‘The Bug Box‘ is building a real life Sand Scorcher. Be sure to follow his blog: http://bugbox.skynetblogs.be/

Tight Squeeze 2

Just imagine you get a nice model of a hotrod Karmann Ghia. And you are so impressed that you want to build it in real.
And than imagine you are running your own Hot Rod business and you have a V10 engine of a Viper lying around....
You will not be the first with this nice idea:
The guys of www.deanzrodzandracecarz.com
are already deep into this project. Take a look!!

Tight Squeeze

Just found this nice pic of the Team Angora Boys, who shows us all that you don't need a trailer to transport your racecar.

Pic stolen on this very nice blog: http://letsplayvws.blogspot.com/
